why is anger such a powerful emotion? sometimes it is only emotion we allow ourselves to really express. why is it we can't show what made us angry? usually it is we are hurt by something someone said or did. but instead of showing the hurt, we react like an animal and go straight to anger. do we have to protect ourselves that much that we can't say "this hurts"? if we feel we have to protect ourselves that much - what is driving us to that? are we all so mean that we don't allow others to express their hurt? are we like chickens, pecking at someone who is hurt till we "kill" them? are we so afraid to be wrong about something we said or did that we don't allow someone to say " you hurt me"? are we that insecure???? since when did we arrive at perfection? saying "i'm sorry - i was wrong" is freeing. then we can relax and be ourselves. we are not always looking around pretending we are something we are not. we all make mistakes and we know it!!! why the pretense and cover-up? why do we waste time and energy holding on to anger, figuring out how to get even? don't we all have better things we could be doing? it is not the end of the world to be wrong, it is if we don't admit it and apologize. we can never really move on in our life if we never see where we really are!
